**As of January 1st, 2012, we will only accept submissions March through August.**
We do not accept sob stories, teenage-drivel love poems, political banter, proselytizing speeches, or anything of the like. There are many other journals out there that cater to such genres and nonsense. This journal is for the emotionally impaired, hard-hearted, vengeful-minded.
For the time being we do not pay, but we are fair in our assessment of your submission and offer free contributor's copies (and sometimes other swag) if accepted. We realize that that is like free coffee at a gas station, but it's what we've got at the moment.

Criminal Class Press is looking for your best piece of story noire. We're looking for something bold that's infused with drama, fantastical elements, and plenty of action. Stories must take place between 1939 and 1950, for full effect, of course. Think "Sky Captain & The World of Tomorrow" meets "Far From Heaven".
